Double Action Cupping Press

The Double Action Cupping Press is used to form flat metal sheets into cup-shaped blanks through deep drawing. It's the first step in producing cans, battery cases, and other cylindrical components. This press ensures high precision, uniform wall thickness, and reliable performance for high-volume production.
Advantages of Double Action Cupping Press
2-piece casting frame
2 sets of massive frames resist deflection and reduce vibration. The post-guiding bushings are case at the bed frame and machined at the same time to ensure verticality.
Dynamic balancer
The dynamic balancer reserves the weight of the upper die weight to eliminate the inertia produced by reciprocation. Vibration can be reduced to an extremely low level.
Separated clutch & brake
The torch of the separated clutch and brake is bigger, the braking time is shorter. Balanced load on both sides of the crankshaft can reduce the wear of bearings.
Hydro-dynamic bushing & bearing for crank supporting
The distance between crank supports is short to resist deflection stress. 2 bearings and 6 hydro-dynamic brass bushings are applied to get a small clearance. Better support, less power consumption.
Slide guiding system
Plungers isolate the slide from angular front-to-back movement of connections and bear upward eccentric loading during stamping. Hydrostatic bushings can stand with higher thrust and decrease friction.
Slide quick lift (outer slide)
Easy loading dies and solving die problems. After troubleshooting, the slide returns to the original shut height, and BDC is kept without readjustment.
